These tubes are made from unidirectional carbon fibre using pultrusion, an industrial process similar to profiling, ensuring high consistency and excellent strength. The carbon/vinyl blend from the Exelite process gives the material a glossy finish, creating the impression of a varnish.

The stated dimensions refer to the external diameter. Exel series are designed with constant sizing, allowing one rod or tube to be easily inserted into another of larger diameter.
