Hook Aerial Silks
Bell for tying up the aerial fabric, allowing you to suspend it securely without causing damage.
The CIRCUS DIVISION hook stands out with an innovative design: a stainless steel core entirely covered in silicone, with no welds or exposed metal parts. It comes with a 40 cm suspension strap (anchor loop), which passes through the central hole before being attached to a carabiner (sold separately). For maximum safety, we recommend using auto-locking carabiners, although screw-lock types – more budget-friendly – may be suitable for experienced users. Both options are available for purchase.
A major advantage of this cylindrical hook is its compatibility with the clove hitch knot, which is easy to tie and extremely reliable. It keeps the two fabric strands well separated while minimizing the pressure on the fabric itself.
How to tie your fabric (see video or image):
Twist the fabric at the center (at the label) to slim it down.
Create a first loop about 10 cm in diameter.
Form a second, identical loop just to the left of the first.
Place the second loop over the first to form the clove hitch knot.
Insert the hook into the knot. At this point, the fabric is still quite thick.
Gently pull on the ends to refine the knot and position it between the two silicone edges.
Then secure both ends of the strap (anchor loop) to your carabiner.
During the first use, the knot will naturally tighten with your weight and adjust perfectly around the hook.
A design built for durability
With a 65 mm diameter and rounded edges, the silicone body effectively protects the fabric from wear and stretching. The material complies with aerial fabric manufacturers' recommendations, which advise replacing the fabric at the first signs of fatigue.
The 1 cm thick silicone coating also shields the metal core from impacts that may occur during use or transport. The total weight of the accessory is 630g.
Certified strength
The hook is certified for a working load of 150 kg (150 dN), with a safety factor of 10:1, ensuring a maximum core strength of up to 1500 kg. The elasticity of the silicone acts as a shock absorber, while the nylon anchor strap is tested to withstand up to 4500 kg (45 kN). This makes the system one of the strongest and safest available for aerial fabric practice.
Made from premium materials – stainless steel and silicone – each hook meets the highest European standards. Its clove hitch-optimized design, soft edges, and metal-free exterior make it a top choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
