A triple bearing diabolo is equipped with a one-way axle system (clutch) generally comprising two lateral ball bearings and a central needle bearing. This significantly reduces friction, providing high rotational speed and prolonged inertia ideal for executing long sequences of tricks. This mechanism allows the diabolo to spin and retain its momentum up to 20 times longer than a standard fixed axle diabolo.

It is the ideal choice for performing long trick sequences (combos), grinds (slides) on fingers or handsticks, as well as Vertax (vertical diabolo) practice.

The operating direction is crucial. Unlike a fixed axle diabolo, a bearing diabolo has a mandatory direction of rotation. If placed backwards, it will not accelerate and will fall off the string.

Visual marker: The central axle features two different colors (often one black ring and one white ring).

- For a right-handed player: The colored ring (often black) must face toward you (toward your body).

- For a left-handed player: The white ring (or the other color) must face toward you.

The advantage of the triple bearing diabolo:

Unlike a fixed axle, the string does not slow down the diabolo when you lower your stick. You can therefore chain acceleration movements much more fluidly.

- Stick releases (Suicides / Genocides): The diabolo retains so much speed that you have time to release a stick, let it complete a full loop, and catch it without losing balance.

- Vertax (Excalibur): Vertical diabolo play.

Doing "The Elevator" is impossible!: This classic trick (where the diabolo climbs up the vertical string) does not work with a ball bearing diabolo. The string wraps around an axle that spins freely, preventing the diabolo from gripping to climb up.
