These end caps are used to create tension with a line or bungee, usually on the leading edge or wingtip of a kite.

The indicated diameter corresponds to the outer diameter of the tube on which the end cap is placed.

Suitable for rods and tubes from 2 to 11 mm, they are fitted at the ends of the spars. The trailing edge line or bungee is kept under tension with a knot or loop held in the notch of the split end cap.
