Exel Carbon Rod 150cm

Exel rods are made of pultruded carbon with a vinyl resin finish, offering excellent strength while remaining very light. The carbon/vinyl mix gives the material a shiny appearance, resembling a polished finish.

Unlike hollow tubes, the rod is solid: inserted into a tube, it reinforces it; used alone, it is flexible enough to create a variety of kite shapes.

To extend an existing rod or create a long length in multiple parts, aluminum connectors can be used.

The dimension corresponds to the outer diameter, and the Exel series are designed to allow a rod or tube to fit freely into a larger diameter tube without forcing. Possible combinations are 3 mm in 5 mm, 4 in 6, 6 in 8, and 8 in 10, allowing smooth sliding depending on the length inserted.
